ACT has designed a project to engage children in every aspect involved in creating an original musical. Through the specific semester classes designed for this project, our students will write the script, compose the music, design the production, and perform in the final product. The process of creating this original musical, guided by career artists and musicians, allows children of all experience levels and backgrounds to participate. Several talented guest adults artists will lead the production staff of students.
The final product, produced on a traditional six week schedule in the summer of 2009, will be open to any student currently or previously enrolled in ACT. It will be completely tuition free to be a part of the final production in the summer.
